Chance for Bulgarian companies to use Finnish experience
This week saw the launch of DIHUB - the newest project, in which the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber is partnering with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the University of Applied Sciences and the Business College in Helsinki, a cluster of IT companies from Lisbon, vocational schools from Tallinn and Ljubljana and others.
A network of 5 IT hubs will be created in Europe within the project, which will develop services, based on cloud and mobile 4G и 5G technologies and artificial intelligence. They will become an environment, where students in IT will acquire practical skills and work on problems, set by companies. The goal is to implement custom solutions using the latest technology. One of the hubs will be in Bulgaria and 5 of our companies will have the chance to submit a concrete problem, which needs solving. That way, they will be able to benefit for free from the knowledge and experience gained in one of the most high-tech countries in Europe, such as Finland.
At the same time, DIHUB will provide useful new knowledge and skills to young people in order to solve specific cases in the business environment. This project develops one of the priority areas, which the Chamber is actively working in – employment and labour market, where the business in Bulgaria and Romania can choose among highly qualified and talented employees – a neccessary condition for the development and growth of any company.
The motto, which the first organisational meeting ended with and the active work began, was: „It’s all about skills, sills and skills”.
