Representatives of the Bulgarian and Romanian business met in Constanta
On May 14th 2018, b2b meetings took place between the business in Bulgaria and Romania, organized by the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Bucharest. Host of the event was the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture of Constanta.
HE Todor Churov – Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Romania and Mr. Ivaylo Marinov – Head of the Office of Trade and Economic Affairs, Bucharest, the representatives of the Bulgarian companies and the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber were first welcomed in the Constanta Prefecture, where they talked with the local authorities about the business opportunities, which the region offers and about the joint efforts of both countries to improve their economic development. They expressed their confidence, that Bulgaria and Romania will attract more and more investments from countries in the EU and outside of it, and that together they could change their attitude towards both markets for the better.
After the useful visit, the Bulgarian delegation headed towards the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture of Constanta, where a Cooperation Memorandum was signed between the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce in Constanta. As proof of their successfull cooperation, both organizations supported the Bulgarian and Romanian companies during the bilateral meetings, where many problems and topics of mutual interest were discussed.
According to the CEO of the Chamber in Constanta, the companies with Bulgarian share in the capital, which have invested and are operating in the county of Constanta, are 88.
