Children's Easter in Bucharest
One week before Easter, children from Bulgaria and Romania gathered, in order to tell each other how they celebrate the holiday in their own country. What colour is the first painted egg, why is the week before the holiday called „passion week“, what ingredients are in a cozonac and how does the Vazkresenie salutation sound in Bulgarian and Romanian. Those were some of the questions in the quiz, in which the children participated.
Children between the ages of 5 to 12 were coloring templates of Easter eggs and putting them in a basket with closed eyes, as well as playing various games, related to the holiday.
The boys and girls, over a piece of delicious cake from confectionery Nedelya, shared what they learn in school, how the teachers assess their knowledge and how they have fun during their free time.
We thank all the participants and hope we can meet again!
