Security in and of itself does not guarantee trust and loyalty in business relations. That’s why it’s important for every entrepreneur to be responsible towards storing personal data and informed in detail about the changes, which would take effect after the implementation of the Regulation. The event took place on May 19th in the University of Ruse, where the lectors Pavel Hriskov - manager of Inteleksys OOD and lawyer Asen Velinov - senior partner in “Velinov and partners” consultancy office, familiarized the audience with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the sanctions when one doesn’t comply with it.
The discussion in the afternoon was also very interesting. The online platform, where everyone had the opportunity to ask questions on the topic, was introduced in the beginning. For two hours, the guest-lectors were answering questions and were giving advice to the attendees regarding concrete cases.
