Photo of a crystal impressed the jury of a competition
A mysterious crystal, photographed by the 13-year-old Pavel Penchev, is the picture, which gahtered the most jury votes in the „Mysteries, museums, fortresses, treasures“ competition of the Bulgarian-Romanian Children's Fund.
The singer Divna Stancheva, the photographer Tsvetomir Tsvetanov and the designer Mariyana Mincheva assessed the creative approach of the teens-participants.
In the pictures for the competition, I saw a lot of creative thought and conceptualism, which are absolutely a sign of a desire for expression through photography and professional photographic potential
stated Divna.
The competition, aimed at young people over 13, was intended to provoke them to express their views on something familiar but forgotten, show an unfamiliar place they visited for the first time or showcase mysteries solved by them. The impressive architecture of Peles Castle in Romania won second place, while third place was shared between views of the tower in Tryavna and the town of Rushnov.
The organizers will contact the winners to give them the prizes.
