BRCCI promoted labour mobility between Bulgaria and Romania with exchange visits
Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes the first group of ten Romanians, who are coming with the intention to study the job opportunities in the Ruse region. There are both unemployed and employed people in the group, which want to change their professional career through opportunities for development in Bulgaria.
BRCCI has prepared a program for them to visit companies in Ruse, which are interested in hiring employees from Romania – the logistics and industrial center „Rousse Free Zone“ EAD, a company for courier and transport services „Inout Trade“ OOD, manufacturer of complicated aluminum components for the auto industry - „Montupet“ EOOD, „Bulmarket DM“ OOD - deliveries and trade with propan-butan and natural gas, as well as a company, which manufactures air ducts and ventilation facilities - „Tara Systems“ EOOD.
The group participants will communicate directly with the employers, which are looking for staff from the neighboring country, and will receive first-hand impressions from the Bulgarian labour market. According to the visiting program, BRCCI will provide them with much additional information for the working and living conditions in the Ruse region – renting a room, cross-border and inner-country travel, medical care, educational and social institutions etc.
Employers positively regard BRCCI’s new initiative as a chance for direct contacts with potential employees from the neighboring countries.
A Bulgarian visit in Romanian companies from the region Olt, with a capital Slatina, is planned in the end of July.
The exchange visits are possible thanks to project „VISA - Cross-border Labour Mobility Agency“, financed through programmme Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria, which is implemented by BRCCI in partnership with Association for Regional Development, Slatina.
The next step of the partner organizations in support of labour mobility is the publication of two editions with the title “Guide of the cross-border worker”. One of them is a short guide for Bulgarians about the working a living conditions in Romania and the other one informs the Romanians about Bulgaria. The guide includes much practical information and advices, which facilitate the adaptation in the neighboring country. The two mirror editions are currently under print.
