MedLife Expands into the Moldovan Market with All Clinic Acquisition
MedLife, the largest private healthcare provider in Romania, has announced its expansion into the Moldovan market through the acquisition of a majority stake in All Clinic. This strategic move marks the company’s second international transaction, following the acquisition of the Rózsakert Medical Center Group in Hungary in 2019.
Founded in 1999, All Clinic operates three multidisciplinary private clinics offering outpatient medical services across more than 20 specialties, including family medicine, pediatrics, ENT, cardiology, and gynecology. The company closed last year with a revenue of €800,000 and a double-digit EBITDA margin, strengthening its position in the local market.
Mihai Marcu, President and CEO of MedLife, stated: "We will use this strategic move to explore a new market and assess opportunities for business scaling. Moldova has significant potential, particularly in Chișinău, the second-largest Romanian-speaking city after Bucharest."
Aurica Roman, co-founder of All Clinic, added: "We are honored to join MedLife, a well-capitalized strategic partner with a sustainable approach. Our goal is to accelerate growth in the Moldovan market."
With over 90 companies integrated into the group and extensive M&A experience, MedLife continues to invest in regional development, maintaining its position as a leader in private healthcare.
