Second work meeting-discussion about the navigation problems will take place in Ruse

Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRCCI) is organizing a second work meeting-discussion about the navigation problems, which is a continuation of the round tables, which are taking place in all eight Danube countries in the framework of project DANTE – improving the administrative procedures and processess, related to the Danube waterway transport, financed via the "Danube 2014-2020" transnational cooperation programme.

The goal of this discussion is to introduce the results of the meetings, conducted in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia, whose navigational problems and obstacles on the Danube were identified as a result of different administrative results and regulations, which were imposed by the river authorities and which derive from the regional legislations. Also, the Transnational electronic tool for reporting administrative barriers and good practices, as well as analyses of the results from the reported cases thus far, will be presented.

The discussion and presentation of the proposed unified forms for control of the vessels on the Danube will be emphasised on during the second working table (the so called DAVID forms – Danube Navigation Standard Forms – Arrival and departure report; Crew list; Passenger list), which are proposed to be implemented by the Working groups, responsible for the inland waterway transport and security to the Danube strategy and discussed by all Danube states.
