The commodity turnover between Bulgaria and Romania is growing

Over 4,6 bln. euro is the commodity turnover between Bulgaria and Romania for 2018, according to data from the National Statistical Institute. The export towards Romania during last year grows by 10,2% compared to 2017, while at the same time the goods imported from Bulgaria’s northern neighbor have increased by 3.4%. The positive trade balance for 2018 is 195 million euro.

Romania is Bulgaria’s third biggest trading partner among the EU countries, preceded by Germany and Italy.
